Jaqueline Mains is an animator that hired me to create her personal brand, website, and online portfolio. During our consultation, she talked about her need for a logo and brand. She talked about how she really wants a logo to look like a signature, rather than using her own signature she preferred a nicer script font to look as if it could be her signature.

We then talked about how she really was interested in a space/2D aesthetic. She really likes the whimsical futuristic feeling of space so I immediately began working on that. I began by creating moodboards, color pallets and various logo designs. Once we established the color pallets and finalized the logos I took those and began making the background, business cards, and other assets in order to establish her brand.

Once that was done, we then moved to creating her website. We talked about her further wants and needs for this site and decided that the most important part is the portfolio. I created various Adobe XD wireframes and mockups that followed the brand guidelines I had set to show her before putting it into her web host.

After we finalized a look, I then began implementing the XD files into her chosen web host. Since updating her portfolio is her biggest need, I made sure that I could make this website as easy as possible for her to update on her own by making it possible to upload multiple projects at a time.

In the end, she was very happy with her new brand and website. It tied everything together in the way she needed. I had so much fun with this project and I am very excited to see where she will go with it.
